Statement of intent

I aim to create a music magazine (Front cover, contents page, Double page spread) that will use and challenge the conventions of existing music magazines. I will research original magazines to find out how they are so popular with certain audiences and what typical conventions are used. I will create a magazine that will aim to sell to a certain audience. This will be done by doing audience research in the selected age group to find out what the public want to see in a music magazine.
Finally I will evaluate what I did wrong and what I did right when looking at my magazine. What I have learnt, how I have attracted my audience and what technologies I needed and could have done without.
